Blade Show?

So, how did everyone enjoy the Blade Show in Atlanta, GA last week end? I thought it went well, some details that were commonly "just handled" routinely were not quite up to normal, but overall I was quite l pleased with how things went. The crowd was down, it seemed and sales were off, or so I thought the general feeling was from what I heard. The weather was totally perfect, however, and that was nice. I thought the show went well and the "new folks" are doing a good job, which will get better, with more experience. Can't complain, but have heard a few complaints.

Hi Steve - I think the show will get better, some learning curve for the new folks. I didn't like the lack of security and rag-tag way they went about starting it. The folks I went with all did well on sales, mine weren't so good, but it was my first show.

The slower crowd allowed me to spend more time after the show talking with makers that I've never had a chance to, that was a nice bonus.

Good seeing you out there.

The blade show was great, it was a pleasure to find old friend and I made new friends. I bought many materials, but I didn't find large scales stags.
I went in Atlanta by 3 days, beautiful city!!! It was a pleasure, to see my friend Steve Jonhson, and yours beautiful knives.

I'd think that running any knife show in "these times" would be a challenge. I didn't hear of any major problems with anyone. Things went pretty smoothly, in general, it seemed, the more I think of it. I'm sure that everyone did the best they could.
Great visiting with old friends and making some new ones. Nice to see Cap and Romano!
Big stag is hard to find!
