A New One Friction Folder

Hello all:
Here is a bigger sized friction folder I finished recently. A little heftier than a usual sized friction folder. Slotted into a pice of nice looking elk stag. I have more pictures, info and pricing on my website. Blade is nice and tight right now, should loosen up with use but for now its a nice piece.
Thanks!
Matt

Thanks!
The washer is made of brass. The finish is a fire finish from the forge, I left the blackened look on half the blade and the cutting edge is cleaner.

I forgot to add the brass washer is not inlayed. The steel pin is peened over the waser. The washer was hammered around the outside and smoothed and finished with handwork.

thanks for the info, you did a real nice job. at one time i had a customer who bought 4 of that style from me [ one a month at a local gun show]. they'te fun to make, but i always felt that i couldn't charge for the amount of time it took to make one. just make them for myself or friends now. paul

No Problem. Your right it's hard to figure a fair price for the work that goes into these. I have a system I use that cuts time down a bit but still they take a little time.
Thanks again Matt
