Hey there Bernez,
I am a professional tattoo artist. I also have some experience in graphic design. Your logo looks good, but I do have a reccomendation or two. Your design is visually heavy on the left side with the graphic and the large O. Consider putting the graffic at the end for balance. Also, a Celtic knot, perhaps associated with the O, would be attractive and a more obvious refference to your heritage. Take it for what it's worth. Andy,
Sorry, I'm a bit late to reply. I also played with your idea of putting the Hermine on the right side. And I must say you're right. It's more in balance. The knot would be nice but on such a small logo it would be to buzy and wouldn't show up on an etching stencil. Good news is, I made my mind and with the help of Patricia Bruno at IMG-Electromark I ordered a few sheets of stencil with this logo on it. To all of you guys. The design is a mix of all the ideas you gave on this topic. Thanks to all of you for your feedback Bernez __________________ Be patient: in time, even an egg will walk. |
