Nothing to do with knives

Just wanted to let everyone know that the wife and I are now expecting our first baby! So come about the end of October there will be a new little knife maker in the world

Congradulations!!! From today until the birth enjoy as much as your freedom and sleep as possible because it will soon be gone. Life will never, ever be the same again. You can also start practicing on being able to function with only three hours of sleep. I practiced but never got good at it.

I keep asking her everyday if she is ready for pickles, shrimp, and ice cream...I get hit a lot. We found out today the official due date is Oct 21st. Better get in as much shop time as I can now, I doubt she will let me take him in there while I'm working.

Congratulations, Jayson!!! That's terrific news! So, which custom knifemaker will the child be named after? Moran if it's a girl, Scagel if it's a boy???

I was thinking of names like:

Coote, Bader, Grizzly... hey I like Grizzly! Dewalt, Gator, Paragon (sounds like something out of Lord of the Rings), Hammer, Flux, Perlite, Anvil (very Nordic sounding), Dremel, Sparks, Wootz, Austentite (Did I flub the spelling there?) Carbide, Damascus, Platen, Ferric, and my very favorite...

SLAG!
