Need help on finishing FFG

I am trying to complete my grind on a FFG but am stuck on how to finish it.
Below is a pix with the area on both sides that I am not sure on. I am not
really wanting the plunge line to go all the way up and pretty comfortable
where it is ending now but am willing to take it up further if suggested.
I have the taper pretty close to where I had planned it as well. (pictured)
I am not planning to taper the back handle area.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'finish it'. If you have gone through the grits and reached the final grit you wanted whatever that may be then you're finished. If you haven't done that yet then that's what you need to do and whether or not you end up moving the grind line will depend on your control. Most people end up with tiny little grind lines like that when first learning to grind and half the time they get completely erased by the time the final grit is reached.

I am not suggesting you do this but there is a trick that can be used here that might be helpful if you can pull it off successfully. If you were to put a fresh belt of the finest grit you finished the blade with on your grinder and the very carefully put the flat tang down on the platen. Apply gentle pressure to the blade being careful not to let the blade tilt down onto the bevel. Doing this will widen the unground area at the spine of the blade. After that, you have another chance to grind a new grind line . If you screw it up you can always go to a full flat grind with no line ...

Looks pretty good in my opinion. At first I thought round that section some, then I thought bring it most of the way up, but the more I look at it the better it looks.

ray . to me it sounds like he wants to finish the grind like you have on your reliant knife . hey poolqs go to ray rogers handcrated knives site and check out his reliant in his sport / misc section , and see if thats what your talking about ?
