A Pair of Newly Engraved

These are both slip joint folders I made. Blade length of 2.375" . Identical patterns.
The first is Desert Ironwood and the second is a pearl knife I made for my wife. It was long overdue. The last one I gave her I ended up selling out from under her about 6 or 7 years ago. The bolsters on these are about a half inch wide.
I hope these images are not too big for display on the forum.

Andy,

I really like the balance and flow on these pieces.
The depth of shading on the pearl knife is especially nice!

Hope you bring something to the Blade Show.
Looking forward to seeing you, and your work in person!

Tim

At this point I don't know how I can bring any knives to the show. I am flying down...I can't carry any knives on and I really don't think I want to be putting them in my luggage for inspectors to take or my luggage to get lost. How does everyone else get their knives to the show if they don't drive in?.....Years ago I actually did pack them in my luggage but I was pretty nervous waiting on that piece of luggage to come down to baggage claim My knives are worth a lot more now than they were then. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I've heard that some guys FedEx a package to the hotel and then FedEx it back home after the show. Seems kinda shaky as well........Espescially finding a FedEx office on Sunday morning when I'm leaving.

Very nice Andy. On the first one, I like the way you have the separate scroll in the corners of the front bolster.

whether it is your plain jane or dressed models...Andy you make one slick folder. I kick myself for letting this one slip away years ago... I kept up with who it went to each time it would sold , but eventually lost track of it

perhaps the most refined precise framelock I have seen..

I dont think it of it as old , just aged

either way it's one I wish I never let go of and I only feel that way about one other knife , a Blackwood Henchman.
