Dirty Birds' New Clothes

I recently sent my first fixed blade, Dirty Bird to Mike Bartol (MtMike) for a sheath. I asked Mike to come up with a design that would go with this oddball knife. I recieved this in the mail today and I love it!! A very cool wrap around with a beautiful emu inlay.

Thanks again Mike, it's perfect.

Dave

I still love that knife! The sheath just makes it that much better!

Dave---that knife is a real eye catcher, and the sheath is a fine example of what it takes to make a wonderful combination. Mike is a personal friend (although we have never met) and he does make a very nice sheath that you should be proud to dress your blades.---Sandy---

I mentioned this over on the Sheath Gallery, but for those who may not have seen it -- giving credit where it is due -- Sandy was kind enough to send me a copy of this pattern with a beautiful sheath he made for my small Camerer bowie. Naturally I modified it for the Dirty Bird, but it's basically Sandy's pattern, and I loved the way it fits this style knife. Thank you my friend

Mike
