Mother of Pearl
Hi,
I'm getting ready to make a gents carry knife with MOP and while I can get white at a good thickness, gold and black lipped are just a bit thin for what I need. Now I've lifted gold lipped with black spacers and this makes for a good contrast between the gold of the pearl and the silver of the blade, but how would I raise the black lipped? Thanks for your time, Jim |

You could also try thin metal sheet (brass, copper or nickel silver) to use as a spacer.
Just another option to try. I used some thin copper sheet as spacer behind some nephrite jade on a couple DDR3's I made, and the contrast looked pretty cool. Take care. __________________ Dean McKay NT Yard'n Ape McKay With a Strong Hand |

Thanks guys,
I ended up going with white, black just wasn't in the budget this time. Jim |
