movement while grinding
I am curious which of these two ways everyone prefers to move the knife while grinding the bevel.
1) moving the tang on the yaw axis. (meaning moving the tang away from the belt on a plane parallel to the ground) 2) moving the tang on the roll axis. ( meaning moving the tang down towards the ground) I have tried them both and they both seem to work but I am curious if one is better than the other. I currently use method #1.
