Veldtrekker
[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
My latest, I call it Veldtrekker. 5160 forged and ground 12" blade, clay hardened with a nice hamon. Scabbard is calfskin-lined Baltic birch, wrapped in goat rawhide, with browned iron fittings. The whole thing given my trademark hot beeswax treatment. Man, photographing temper lines is hard! You can make out the hamon in the closeup picture. __________________ Charles D. Thanks, Tai. As you can see, I've still got a definite Goo influence going on my blade profiles! Why change what works?
