Back from BLADE 03
Well I'm overdosed on knives..... Crex and I meet up on Friday and made a day of it. Finished up at Outback with a good steak and a couple of cold ones What a day! I just had to do it again today.... at 3:30 this afternoon I was like the monkey having sex with the skunk..." I hadn't had all I wanted , but I had all I could take"....... Anyway I think I learned more in 2 days than I did in a year. I meet alot of the CKD brotherhood, finally putting a face to the name. Took alot of photos and got many new ideas to try. You guys should have seen the cutting competetion. That was some serious cutting.. very impressive. Well I'm warn out, I'm going to try and get some sleep, while "visions of knives danced in thier heads" ............jc

John, think I'm gonna sneak back over there today for awhile. That's a lot of realestate to walk over and over and over. Monkey/skunk - glad you didn't mention that while we were eating! Great time man.
NOTE: You guys need to stay at your tables so a bloke can find you! Really enjoyed neeting all of you! Hey, we finally cracked the mystery of the OspreyGuy (but I'm not telling). As reported on another forum: Jim Crowell bested John Fitch for total points in the chop-off. Someone should tell us first-hand.
'The Mystery of the Osprey Guy' sounds like a dime-store book! Well.....???!!! Coop |
