New tactical Knife
Hello fellas,
this is a tactical knife made with 1070. File-work on handle (full-tang). The handle is a brasilian wood called "Gon?alo-Alvez". Thank?s Goulart |

Carlos,
It looks like a really functional knife! I really like it, as I do most of the work I see coming from you. Sorry if this is a newb question, but what is the purpose of the long finger guard part extending down from the ricasso? It seems like it might get in the way a bit. I don't think it really distracts from the over all design, but it's purpose escapes me. __________________ A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others. - Ayn Rand

Hello Friend, Thank's for your words!!! This is simply a guard. (a technical designation is Quillion). As a tactic knife can be used more aggressively, this prevents the "index" finger escape to the front and find the cut of the blade. |
