2014 Montana Mountain Summit is on!!!!!!!!!

The 2014 Montana Mountain Summit
IT'S ON!!!!! September 5th-7th
At S.K. Knives Shop in Bigfork, Montana

Oh, man.... Won't be making it up north for this, unfortunately. For anyone on the fence about making the trip for this, I'd have to suggest you go. It was a great time last year and I learned a ton. There is a very diverse group of people with a LOT of knowledge covering all kinds of techniques. Steve puts on a great weekend and the Laughing Horse was a lot of fun to be at. And the food was gooood . The dinner there with everyone was great and it will be a long time before I forget the laughs (I'm convinced our table had the most fun).

Bing gave a great demo on water quenching 1095 for a clayless hamon:

Ed gave a cool demo on mosaic Damascus starting with a can:


Cut and reoriented, to be welded up and drawn out again


Plus a lot more that I didn't get pics of. Goooood times .
