small wheel attachment
I attached my small wheel holder on my belt sander about a month ago, everything tracked fine. Now i cant get the belt to stay centered, i have to keep one hand adjusting the belt while i grind or it will damage the arm. I havent changed anything since jt was working fine so im not sure why it isnt working that well. Any one have any suggestions to correct the alignment? Fyi i dont have any precision tools or access to a mill

Possibly the bearings on the tracking wheel are going out.

Check to be sure both bearing are seated in the "pockets" completely.

I figured out how to correct it since i posted the question. It tracks fine its just really touchy, i have to slowly ramp up the belt speed until and adjust the tracking at the same time. I also need to attach a guard on the inside arms of the wheel holder, a 50 grit blaze belt touching aluminum at 1500 rpm does a hell of alot of damage.
