Happy Easter to everyone....I hope you all are able to find the "Prize Egg" today....
A few weeks ago, Bill Snow and I met and talked at some length with a fellow named Charlie Sellers who has a unique offering that you might like. He has an agreement with Belize, and is harvesting Rosewood Burl that is out of this world. I asked him if he'd come to Dr. Sangsters shop next month, but he couldn't make it, so he has asked me to bring some of the wood so you could see it. He is shipping the logs to Blue Ridge, GA...cutting it to size and drying it there. What he left with me to bring is all slabs cut from burls. The moisture content is about 6 to 8%, so ready to use.I can cut some pieces to size if you need that. The cost is $24.00 a pound, or $1.50 an ounce. I am going to try to attach a photo. If you have something in mind you'd like, let me know. I have made 6 pens, 2 knives and now am working on a small bowl made from this material, and am getting great comments from customers....James (706-442-0218 cell)
