Final two knives going to Reno
I don't know what to think.......5 days before I leave for a show, and I have all my knives done! I finished these two up today, so I will have a total of 6 pieces available at the ABS expo in Reno. Hope to see you there!

Really nice Ed. I gotta figure out how to do that stippling. It sure does look good on the right knife.
Good luck at the show. Carey __________________ Everything you do says something about who and what you are so ALWAYS sign your work with excellence. You are cordially invited to check out my web site: Handmade Knives by Carey Quinn |

Hi Ed,
The folder is spectacular, but I really like the hunter. Nice proportions and looks like a great user. They look bigger and higher resolution than normal, but still real nice job on the pics. Have a safe trip and great show. Take care, Craig |

Fantastic work Ed!
If I had to make a choice, I'd go for the fixed blade, its one of the finest hunter/utility knives I've seen. Is she 52100? |

Gday Ed,
They all look superb and I wish I didnt live 12000 miles away and was able to see them in the flesh. Guess I will just have to wait till Atlanta this year. You will probably spend the next 5 days looking over them wondering what you could have done differently. When I fly home from work this time I will have to decide which of the 9 blades I will have got back from heat treat I will try and finish for the Canberra custom show (east coast of Aust) on Feb 2. The trick will be not rushing and trying to get more done and not finish them as well I guess. Good luck at the show Cheers Bruce |

Thanks to everyone for you kind words and well wishes! I sure hope they ALL find new homes.....bills to pay, and expenses fulfill....but this time of year I'm sure lots of us are in that boat.
I may have to start a new trend for myself.....its kinda nice to not be working right up to the last minute before a show. Gives me a couple of days to work on some orders. __________________ WWW.CAFFREYKNIVES.NET Caffreyknives@gmail.com "Every CHOICE has a CONSEQUENCE, and all your CONSEQUENCES are a result of your CHOICES." |

Awesome, as always, Ed!
I love that folder. It is reminiscent of the piece that won you the awards at the 2006 Blade West, isn't it?
I like the subtil coloring of the blade. Thing looks like it's just emerged from the fire. I also love that double temper line on the fixed blade. Hope you sell out at the show, friend! Best regards, Dana |
