I haven't posted here for a while and thought that I would show you what I have been making recently. A while back, I got the urge to build some of the classic original Bowies of the early 19th century and here are three of them that you may enjoy:

Very nice. I love classic historical Bowies. I did a few many years ago, and can appreciate what goes into it. I am too lazy now to do any more. I have a brother-in-law in Columbus GA. BH Mulkey. Any possible family connection?

I'm sure that we are distant cousins as there aren't that many of us but he's not direct family.

Glad that you liked the knives. There's a bit of satisfaction when you finish something like what they carried years ago.
