Question sanding belts

dQuestion for you tool experts: I have an old disc/belt sander that was given to me and it uses 6x48 belts. The only ones I have been able to find are from HF made in India and they have a heck of a joint in them. Is there such a thing as a belt with a smooth joint, if so where can I find them in the required size? The local builder supply stores (Lowes, Home Depot) only stock narrow widths. Thanks.

Goat,

My Supergrit catalog shows that they carry the standard grits in your size (24 grit all the way up to 400...maybe more)

Hope this helps.
