if they said it couldn't be done, do you think they really tried, and will it stop you from trying too - or not

Why do possums get up inside dead old bloated cows ?

Hey that reminds me of a story
I was cutting up a hallow oak tree and my nephews were still little guys .My nephews were watching.
Well sometimes the hallow trees will get like a muddy gunk in them- the next cut I made
this gunk started comming out . When I cut through the hunk of wood fell and 1/2 a possum fell out. My nephews were very impressed - I was their hero for the day

Why do the scales wait to split, on that last tap "for good measure"?

Why do I spend more time making improvements to my shop, going to hammer-in's, ordering and watching videos, ordering supplies, sorting and resorting supplies, and reading these forums than making knives?

Why do I have to hand sand a blade before normalizing, before heat treat, before tempering, before tempering again, and before etching? Can I not cut that down to maybe two times?

Why must my anvil be aligned to magnetic north?

Why do my neighbors complain about a little noise, but they seem to have no problem with making even more noise, when I'm trying to sleep?

What makes a knife a good knife?

Is grinding better than pounding?

Why are blonde's more fun?

Lane
