Take a look at the quality of the workmanship. Yeah, there's a lot going on, but does it look crisp? Complex?

Hard to say as the image quality is low resolution and not as detailed for me to discern. Where/who did you acquire this knife from? Where are you located as this helps to determine in some instances the region this style of knife may originate.
