You wanna TRADE.....
So I was involved in a convo in the HT kith and I had an idea for a thread, a trade thread. So if there's something that you have some extra of and there's something you'd like to trade for put it on here. Sorta like the old barter system. Or if there's is something you are looking for put it on this thread. If you guys are like me, you got all kinda crap (as my wife calls it) laying around that someone else may be interested in. Or even if you would want to trade a service for something. But the only "rule" I was thinking is nothing is FOR SALE. No cash exchanges. So lets see how this goes......

What about a pay it forward type deal. By the way i have 18 inches of presicion ground 0-1 tool steel from jantz it is 1/8' by 1' make me a trade offer

I don't really know where to start.... I have enough stainless steel fittings and a brass gate valve to put together a 2" burner for a blown forge. Ed Caffery's design.

That cable is extra IPS. That puts carbon content at around 1075 (at least that's what my test blades have cut like).

I've got unstabilized redwood burl. I'd trade for steel... 1084,01,5160. Maybe some 440c.
