SRJ in the Ghan

Well, not Steve himself I just received this from Mr. J - a modified Backpacker with tapered tang and contoured burlap micarta scales. The blade steel is Ferrium M60S from Questek. A really nice surprise is that Julie Warenski engraved my initials on one of the pins. I will drag this piece around Afghanistan with me.

Be sure to give it plenty of water, that burlap Micarta needs a drink now and then. Nice shot! Thanks, Bob. Test that Ferrium out.
He don't really mean "drag." That thing is so light, it'll probably float out ahead of him a little ways!

Great knife! I know that it will be put through the wringer in Afganistan!

Dogman,

Stay safe and come home soon! Thanks for your service and protecting our way of life!
