Forged Hatchet

Here is a small hatchet that I finished this week. Once again it was made with the hunter in mind. The entire outfit weighs in at 16 oz. The head is 4140 . As always comments and suggestions appreciated(i'm not to thin skinned and I would'nt think of taking you off of my christmas card list LOL) . Paul

I like that a lot, it looks very handy! Nice overall package! Could you give us some dimensions? Thanks.

The the head has a 2 7/8" cutting edge and the overall length of the head is 4 1/2" and is 3/4" thick at the eye. The handle is 10" overall and the whole package weighs in at 1 lbs. It will fit in the pocket on the side of a day pack or in a game pouch. I intend to add a belt loop on the future sheath's. Thanks for looking Paul
