Would this heated press be effective for thermoforming holsters?

I have been using this press in my shop for years to press fit aluminum parts. works excellent, heats up to 600 degrees and will give up to 5000 psi of pressure.
It's air over hydraulic and runs on 110 volts. The plates are 9x9" square.

I was trying to think of usefull things to do with this, since he job I mainly used it on has gone over seas. What do you think? It might work to hot press leather too, i think?

Wow! That's quite the machine, it will certainly get hot enough =350? is all you need. Get some good foam (maxform or something like that from knifekits.com) and you are in business. That's cool. My only concern would be That the workspace, or area where the foam goes is a bit small. Need a minimum of 12x12 inches, but more is better. Maybe you could fit a larger set of 'dies' (for lack of a better term) to increase that surface area.

Are you planning on making holsters, or just sheaths?
