Happy Birthday to Me

Well gents, made it to 73, still trying to catch up with Paul and Sandy....I should
celebrate with some music by mozart or tychowski and a bottle of fine wine....
but since I'm more of a Waylon and Bud-Lite kind of feller, I,ll prob go that route.
Remember you're blessed boys, and help somebody-

Tom, aka T-wolf, aka that cranky old fart............

Happy B-day. I agree, much rather listen to Waylon and the boys than Motzwatz.

The great thing about your age, Tom, is that you can buy yourself the birthday present you always wanted - and still be surprised when you open it!

Good to see you post and Happy Cake Day, amigo!!

I love that signature line by Picasso in Talleys' post-perfectly describes my knife-making efforts....
I knew I could count on a sympathetic asessment of old age by my old saddle pal, Rick. We have
ridden the trails of un-political correctness for years, trading insults all the way...I knew someday
he would attain the exalted rank of Moderator by his diligent pursuit of truth, justice, and the American way...BTW, TJ, were you referring to the time I put the TV remote in the fridge?
take care, amigo, I,ll try to post more often (I miss you guys...sniff,)

Yeah, Tom, "Super Moderator" is the TKN name for "janitor". A couple of us have the title so we can nuke spam posts when they first pop up. (And sometimes it can be every day for weeks from the same sleazebag.) The title certainly doesn't refer to any special talent or ability!

As for "un-political correctness", I find that to be an unceasing war against a big chunk of the world.

An old boss of mine told me that getting old had a great benefit in that your eyes get weak. How in the hell is that a benefit, I asked. Well, he said, not only do more girls look pretty, but their mothers look pretty too!

Hey Paul, good to see your voice again, old podner. In my case, gettin' old means I don't have all
the parts I was born with, and the ones I do have don't work anymore...take care, my friend.

Tom, my YOUNG friend, I am afraid that Paul and I have you by 8 and 18 years, respectively. Sorry I missed this a few months ago and hope you catch it!

After 71 years of beating the crap out of leather-----whoope ! !----I retired about 6 weeks ago and I am just beginning to get the pleasant scent of cowhide out of my nostrils and the dye from under my finger nails !

Keep in touch-----now I will put on one of your CD's, relax with a massive snort of Vodka and ruby red grapefruit juice-------YOUR OOOOLD COMPADRE---- SANDY

It took 2 months to dig Sandy out of hiding, but it's always good to hear from him!

Vodka and ruby red grapefruit juice - for medicinal purposes, Sandy?

Y'all gotta be careful now or Tom will expect this kind of attention every couple of months!

Was wondering when that old(young) repperbate was gonna wake up....got some new chart-climbers
out, boys, 2 of them done went card-board...I'll get you guys a copy soon....hey..I will!take care, Tom
Edited to add; Had to finsh my post before I wanted too, grandson was yodeling
that I promised to let him shoot the .22.....just wanted to add my voice to the many that
have wished Sandy a long and happy retirement...don't know of anyone more loved and
respected in the knifemaking community...'course now, he'll have more time to chase the
ladies and get in trouble, but he's earned the right to do it...ps...hope he don't read this,
he'll just think I'm getting soft...
