This is the third knife in a series that I made to sell in a truck stop. Blade is 3" forged 1084 wit a mild etch finish bolster is Pewter spacer is Sycamore with a very small Sambar Stag crown stick. Tell me what you think. Gib

Gib, just how many knives have you sold at the truckstop? The thought of hundreds of truckers with one of your knives stuck in a boot or a belt is down right inspiring! Every one of those cheap SS junk knives the truck stops usually sell we keep off the steeet is a victory.

In the past I have sold an incredible amount of knives in the truck stop, I started in 96 or 97 and then the price was a little low due to the fact that I have a dealer that refuses to take much in the way of profit and I was just getting started. That has been remedied to a point as I raised my prices, but there is a price limit on what a Trucker will pay for a knife. And I have a very unusual dealer, but when he gets going there is no keeping up with him. One thing that I know is that you can't go with the standard discount setup that just puts the price out of reach. Gib

Truckers and knives go together like bread and butter
When i drove over the road i usually had 2 on me, and another couple scattered through the truck.. No handmades or customs though.. __________________ "NT Truckin Aardvark Montgomery" www.geocities.com/montyforge/index.html |
