Gaucho style integral knife octagonal
Follow photos of my last job.
This is a knife in gaucho style forged steel 52100 integral construction.
Blade of 10 inches with satin finish. Collar carved file in octagonal shape.
Maple burl stabilized following the collar lines.
Knob and ball in stainless steel, carved from the file and polished as well as the back and hawk.
Sheath in hand-dyed pigskin leather with exotic leather trim.
I thank my friends for looking and for anyone who can share my work anyway.

You are welcome Pedro. I really like this knife and style. I do believe I will make a Gaucho style knife. How did you put the ball on the hilt, with a lathe?

Thank you friend, the ball was made in a lathe, with the help of files. It was glued with epoxy resin, has only aesthetic function.
