bearclaw trapper
i got the bearclaw trapper and it came with shim stock and two nylon washers. what order do these go in? does the nylon washers go on the outside of the blades or the inside against the spacer? i did the stinger with no issues. just not sure when theres two blades.

Hi Terence,
The two nylon washers are in error. That kit doesn't need them. The design is a slipjoint. The blade and liners are in contact. You'll add gap using the shim stock. ![]() ![]() Great choice! Use the shims between the blade and liners to create a gap for movement. If you peen it together without using shims, it'll be so tight that you can't get the blades to move. The shims are used to create this gap, once removed.

Put a bit of thin oil on the shim to aid in removing once peening is done. Ask me how I know!
