Buckeye burl?

Hi gang!

I've got a request for a father and sons set of damascus knives with buckeye burl handles on all three. The buckeye burl I have is almost nearly all of the darker grey tones and the buyer wants blocks that have a lot of the white, lighter tones.

In my searching this morning I found a post from our friend John Doyle on Bladeforums where he had some of this stuff for sale. Do you have anymore of this John, or anyone?

Many thanks,
Dana

Check eBay. I got some nice stuff that was half and half and the divots were surrounded with a redish tint

Dana, I sent you a PM. I have some that's dry and stabilized and good to go. If it works for you colorwise, I'll send you some.

Hi John,

I did find a few pieces on ebay that look pretty good but I wouldn't mind having a couple more blocks to have on hand. My customers all seem to like that wood.

Let me go look at your pm.

Thanks John!
Dana
