I need a refresher coarse,please...
This weekend as I was doing some HT (with 0-1).I decided I was going to do all with an edge quench.Well as I was laying/propping one blade on it edge to reach for another it feel sideways into the oil.Well i have one warped blade (my first) and was wondering how to straighten.Do I need to anneal and then straighten or ..... All help will be appreciated! NO IT WASN"T THE FUSION BLADE Mike k |

I get it up to around 400 degrees, clamp in a vise and you can get it most of the time. good luck. |

thanks Jason, the blade hasn't been finished so i was thinking of annealing,straightening,and re-HT. Mike K |

Mike, If you can h/t over, then do it. I wouldn't say that if it were s/s. carbon steel should be OK. Soften, straighten, and re harden. That's the best way to do it right. |
