Elk Antler (I'd like to buy)

I was wondering if anybody out there had any elk antler for sale. Ideally I would like to buy one set of scales large enough for a mortised tang large hunter or small bowie and one taper large enough for a large stick tang hunter.

If you have some, or know of a good place to get some fast, please contact me at the following email address: seoulbjj@hotmail.com.

Thanks,

John Frankl

Try at

Click on the English version, since they are in Finland...
Nice people and very fair prices.

Elk Horn

I get most of my larger horn from ebay. You might want to do a search and see what is available right now.

Hi John,

Was just in the "Ruidoso Store", Ruidoso, NM today. Wayne has alot of elk antlers and he gets more all the time. He'll ship anywhere inthe country. You can reach him at: 505-258-2552. Tell him Will Pote (Eagle Creek Custom Etched) said to call him.

Good Luck!

Will

Well, they say that the Red Deer is in the Elk family, and personally I like it a lot better that the N.American Elk. Honestly...this isn't based on the fact that I sell this material to other makers. I really *DO* think it makes for a better handle.
