1st Attempt...Kind Of

Hello All,

This is my first post on this forum...

I recently purchased the Chuck Burrows "How To" on sheath making DVD...OUTSTANDING/VERY Informative. Below is my first sheath since watching the video...There are some mistakes, but I am light years ahead of where I used to be when it comes to leather work...Thanks Chuck...

Very nice Mark, I think anyone who's interested in improving their leather work will enjoy Chuck's DVD.
Problem is, once you're hooked on the leather work Chuckee-style, how're you gonna find time for knifemaking

Mike

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words Mike....

I hear ya on getting the leather bug...But is seems that way (with me at least) with all aspects of custom knives. ANY time I learn a new trick or related craft I am hooked!!

As far as making knives after learning the leather tricks...Well, I am fortunate in that I have 4 more blades that need finishing!! HA, guess that means I need to do four more sheaths???HA HA

Take Care/Thanks Again

Howdy Mark - sorry to be so slow getting around to answering - I got your email as well so I'll just answer here.
Nicely done! Glad to see the DVD is getting a work out and glad to help. As to mistakes -well we all still make them (I'll bet Sandy has a "garbage" box as big as mine - well maybe not as big but I'll bet he has one! )
I took the liberty of Photoshopping your pic so we can all better see your work - hope you don't mind...

Keep it up - it's the only way I know to learn and get better.....
