Looking for maker of my knife
Perhaps 20 years ago I purchased a beautiful handmade kitchen knife at the Piedmont craftsmens guild shop close to Asheville. It is the perfect size and shape for my hand and has become a beloved tool in my kitchen - but it is in need of repair or replacement. I'm hoping you could help me locate the maker. A distinguishing characteristic of this knife is that blade was made from a some kind of (circular?) saw blade.
I would truly appreciate any help you could provide. Thank you Elise Winters |

I am not sure if you found the info you are looking for but I would suggest you contact Tommy McNabb in Winston-Salem NC or Travis Daniel in Chocowinity NC. They are both NC knifemakers and have been in on the ground floor of most knife shows in the southeast. They may have the info you are looking for.
