Review of Nov.14, 2015 GCKG Meeting

We had a lovely, cool, fall day at the home and shop of Jarrett Fleming in Winterville, Georgia. Attendance was a little off. We only had about 35 folks present. We were treated to a great BBQ lunch. Thanks to everyone who made it all happen!!
We had two demos by Carl Rechsteiner and Dennis Bradley and a question/answer session with Wayne Hensley, Scott Davidson, and Andy Roy with Jerry Costin as moderator.
James Mitchell was honored with a Lifetime Membership. Well deserved!
Our Scholarship Knife was donated by Allen Surls and won by Dennis Bradley!! Lucky Guy!!
Our "Knife of the Quarter" winner was Carl Rechsteiner. Congratulations! Thanks to all members who participated. All nine entries were winners in my book!
We added one new member.
Look for all the details of the meeting in the next Steel and Fire Newsletter.
Our next meeting will be at Twin Blades Shop in Statesboro probably in February, 2016. Date to be announced. See you there!!!
