RMK Model 5

Hi all

Got this knife when we were in Florida this past winter. I will get a similar one, only it will be a Model 1, at the Blade Show.

I have enough fossil ivory for two more. I have been thinking of a Model 3 then a Model 4. That is the plan for now. But you never know what kind of wood one can find at the Blade Show, so I will remain flexible in my plans.

Hi Rod!

Your knife looks great! I really like the appearance of the fossil ivory.

Are you able to take some closeup shots of the handle closeup?

Cheers!

David

Outstanding Rod! Beautiful knife with good old ivory handle. I never get tired of looking at ivory! Each piece has a life and character all its' own.

Photos from Rod!

Hi all!

Our friend Rod, aka clk sent me some closeup photos of his latest #5 (see above), and asked me to post them here for you all to see.

He also took a shot of the fossil ivory handle alongside one made of elephant ivory.

These handles are simply stunning!

Thanks for sharing them Rod!

Cheers!

David

Thanks David for posting them for me. I must say the fossil ivory, in the photos, looks like it has chicken pox. It sure doesn't look like that in natural light, with my old eyes.

I will get another fossil ivory knife at the Blade Show. It will interesting to see the comparison.

Rod
