This one's for Neil

An interframe hybrid, this is a locking liner folder with scales made of Jim Ferguson damascus (his "Turkish Delight") and blacklip mother of pearl. The process for the inlay is described in Neil Charity's tutorial, How I Build an Interframe Folder.

Although this is a locking liner, the inlay process is identical to Neil's interframe.

I understand Neil is having some health problems, so this knife is a tribute to him for making his knowledge available to the rest of us. Thanks, Neil, and I hope you recover fully and come back to share even more great tips.

The specs are:
Blade: mirror polished 440v, 2.625" long
Liners: polished Ti (no anodizing, no jeweling - the knife is already embelished enough).
OAL: 7.625

As always, thanks for looking. All comments are appreciated.

Beautiful work, Frank! BUt, a mirror polished 440V blade? You must be a masochist!

As usual, beautiful work, Frank. That black lip is hard to find nowadays.

So, back from your trip, huh?
