Finally...a folder for myself!!

YAH!!!...I finished this one today.....I was getting tired of carrying factoryfolders. I made it streetlegal to carry in Denmark...that means blade under 3" and no one hand openings... ( )

The blade is handrubbed RWL-34 powdersteel at 60Rc and cryotreated. Frame is 6Al4V Tita?nium....double liner on the lock side and sinlge liner on the oposit side. The Handle is made from Denim Fibermascus and is heavily textured.....Jeveled on the inside, beadblasted on the outside....it?s light and sharp...!!

Jens, your folders have a clean look to them and I love how you take a different road with your locks and liners.

Keep up this work and the backlog might scare you!

I really like the idea of the two liners on the lock side.

Outstanding Jens!!!
I've never heard of much less seen that handle material before but I really like it and the texturing you did to it is fantastic!
The subtleness of the traction grooves on the blade are amazing too!
Mine always come out looking like a gorilla did it.
I wish you had the time to do a tutorial on swage grinding! The one on that blade is perfect to the nth degree!
That is one fine knife Jens!!

Lots of interesting ideas in this one, from the overall handle/blade shape to the choice of assymetrical handle materials.

You mentioned that a knife in Denmark can't be opened with one hand, hence no thumb stud or flipper. I assume it can't be opened by gravity, either. But I see no nail nick or any other way to grab the blade. There's a question here somewhere, but I just can't seem to phrase it right.

thank you guys..!!!...Ilove my new folder..

Nope this one has no nailnick....I aint got the machinery to make a nice and clean nick....and even though I know it can be done with a disk in my dremel it is just not precise enough for me...so this one I just grab by the blade and it opens smoothly...would prefer a nick though......ofcourse the knives that end up in the US all have either spyderholes or thumbstuds or disks..
