Can you indentify this knife?

Or it's maker? I was asked to rehandle this knife. The lady found it in the woods. Before I cut it apart I wondered if it was something of value/rare.

Looks like a Queen Cutlery stamp, though I don't know a lot about the different stamps they've used over the years.

It's an old Queen Steel. I'd put some new slabs on her and use that sucker.

I was contacted by the head of the Queen cutlery collecting club. I sent him the above info and tells me the knife was made between 1950 and 1958 and has offered to rehandle and make a sheath for the knife for free.

I sent the knife back to Queen Cutlery and just got it back. They did a great job and used the original winterbottom bone for the scales.

They even provided a sheath and did this all free of charge.
