Trackrock Anvils

Charlie, being a dyed in the wool stock removal maker, found a good use for our anvils when I wasn't looking. They are both good anvils and seemed to work very well as heat sinks on this big 3V blade, although I don't think that they fall into the "handy" category at all. They did bring the hardness of the blade right up to where it was supposed to be though. We will be loading the 160lb Peddinghaus (the one on the bottom) up to haul to north Georgia for the Trackrock hammer-in on Thursday. They work real well as anvils too.

That's anvil abuse, pure and simple!

Just make sure you don't fall in the river.

I felt a little bad that Charlie snapped a photo of them in that position. Looks to me like they needed a little more privacy.

Geez, Harry! I was finally starting to get adjusted to the concept of simple abuse by inversion.
Now I won't sleep for a week!

Well now that it's out there..........can I have pick of the litter?
