HovinKnives: Custom folding knives

Here i will post my updates and all processes in my daily knifemaking, so that you can follow the knife from start to end.

beware of load of pictures :P

Right now i am waiting a order from Sweden for the next knives, i also have a little sideproject for my wife, its the brass/red stone knife, it will also have MOP and newsilver on the sides, she wanted some more bling to it.

So stay tuned, will come some pics soon.

You can also visit my Facebook page, there i have pictures from start to end on all models, all the pictures are public.

best wishes from Glenn

did some work to the locking mechanism yesterday, it became very strong and tight, just missing ball for keep it from tearing, and a ball for open/locked postition.

did a etching test with salt acid for 3 minutes, became very shiny and the pattern comes out beautiful

I hate to tell a fine craftsman like you this, but if the back spacer-stop is brass, the blade opening will peen the brass and cause the lockup to fail.
