Thanks Sam. The handle is Scrimshaw. Richard Hutchings did the artwork on the handle. Finally she is finished.

Been out of it for a while so only got to just now see this. Looks wonderful. I wish my try had gone anywhere near as well. Who ever gets that will be one happy person.

Jim

It really did come together. It is much better than I envisioned. Really would like to see it in person. But I am sure Jim captured it superbly. But it still would be nice to hold it.

Chuck, I will have it at the Blade Show at Steve Randall's Table in the ABS section. The winning # will be drawn there. I hope to see you there. I would love to send it too you but I go threw stress issues every time it goes in the mail. You will never know how much your work on this project is appreciated. i got to help make a fantastic knife and made a couple great friends along the way. Thank-you for being a part of this journey.

Andy, It was a privilege to work on this project. Working with materials from Attu had a personal connection having been stationed on her sister island Adak. Anything honoring our brave service personnel is well worth it.

I understand fully you not wanting to send it out again. If at all possible I will make it to Blade. I would like to find a way to get some tickets though. I have many who want to purchase a few.

Take Care

Well it's over.
The knife was won by Denise Snow, Ticket#192.
I was also pleased that Chuck Richards made it to the show. He deserved to get to hold the knife , He was also present when the wining ticket was drawn.
