hmmmm. ok.

good to hear you are ok, sorry to hear your internet was shut off! that sucks!!

i still like the idea of a "Community Knife" and am still interested in making one. i think it will be fun.

kinda puts a kink in out plans i suppose.. but i am sure we can find someone who is worthy of the knife!!

Well there are local ones I was going to give to. There is a lady in the forestry department here that runs a youth camp and I was going to donate one to her for auction. Then theres Northland Hospice thats the best thrift store I've ever been to. Really nice people, not like Goodwill that really overcharges and only wants to make money (here at least). They have open silent auctions and have been wanting to put something in. Otherwise I dont know. I don't subscribe to national charities, too much inefficiency.

for me, as far as charities go.... i donate to Gideons.org. every knife i sell buys one Bible. its not much, but it is what i do so far.

i think your ideas are good, and would be ok with whatever you feel comfortable with.

I thought I'd check back in here to see how everything panned out.

What a surprise to see that people were considering a colaboration knife for me--I'm honored.

However, I think charity is a better use for such a knife, but thank you.

Jlec, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope it all turns out well for you. As for the knife you made, I have never received it. If it comes back to you again, email me to verify the address if you wish.

Enjoy your knives everyone! Despite a few hitches, it seemed to be a decent KITH.

J-lec, I finally recieved the knife a few days ago, Thank you. It is very nice.

I think I'll add it to my camp set for chores while at the lake.
