Thanks Carey!!
Carey, just a note to say "Thank You" for the knife you quickly donated on Saturday when we learned that someone had failed to keep a commitment. I know you were not prepared for that, and that make what you did all the more special. I didn't win the knife, but really, we all won by your generosity...James

James there are few organizations that match the Georgia Guild in my opinion. Someone always is there to help out. Carey stepped up to fill in and did it with style! It was and is a great knife. I only missed it by a ticket or two....
I got to hang on to one of Carey's knives for a few months while waiting for the next Guild meeting. The more I handled that knife the more I came to appreciate the experience and knowledge that went into it's design. I know that it would have been a pleasure to use on a deer. |

You're Right
Harry, I could not agree with you more! GCKG members are, as a group, one of the best groups I have ever had the pleasure of being associated with. I can see any one of the group doing exactly what Carey did Saturday...he was just "quicker on the draw" than the rest of us that day. Every time I have a chance to spend time with any of this bunch, I come away with a deeper appreciation for the character and generosity they always exhibit...... James
