Knife #7, first flat grind, tapered tang

5160 steel, flat ground blade courtesy of "Harvey Dean's" video. Tapered tang and zebrawood scales with steel pins. Really like the way this one turned out. You flat grinding specialists feel free to critique me.

Looks very nice to me!! I am no pro but I have flat ground a lot of blades and I don't see anything wrong with it. Very nice looking. Shane

Good work.Personaly I dont like mirror finishes and think this one would look much better with a scotchbrite or 400 grit finish.

gack, that is nice! all my blade making attempts so far look like dangerous pieces of metal you might find hidden in the *Ahem* bunk, of your local State Penitentiary. Good going, what is your secret?
