In person, go to courses
Is there a list somewhere of courses available to knifemakers. I know there are the online courses but I need to be hands on to learn anything. Alternatively are there knifemakers who would be willing to take on a student or two for a weekend. Specifically I am looking at making a liner lock folder. I would also love a course on guards and handles. A weekend of "How to take knife pictures" would be more than worth the tuition.
I get the feeling I have gone just about as far as I can on my own and need that bit of hands on teaching to get me into the next level. Thanks Steve __________________ Stephen Vanderkolff Please come on over and check out my website. http://www.vanderkolffknives.com/ Thanks |

Steve, we have a list of courses available here in NC on our guild website:
http://www.ncknifeguild.org/classes/ The classes are quite affordable and so are accommodations, but I'm not entirely sure we have a lot of what you're looking for. You could probably teach one or two of the classes at MCC __________________ Cap Hayes See my knives @ knives.caphayes.com This quote pains me: -- "Strategically placed blood grooves control blood spray in covert deanimation activities." -- |
