This is knife is 9.25" long, 1.5" wide and .125" thick. The steel is 1080 and heat treated to rougly 59 RC. It has walnut scales sanded to 1000 grit and finished with tung oil. There are 3 brass pins holding the handle in place along with epoxy.

Need to watch your pin holes when drilling. I noticed the bottom hole has some chip out. Use a backer when you drill. But a good looking knife overall.

Whenever I drill my scales I put what will be the finished side together on the inside, that way any hole spalling won't matter. Otherwise that's a great looking camper

Fill the chip out with superglue then sand it. Might make it less noticeable. ~Nate

could always taper the back of handle a little more until chip out was gone. Looks plenty thick enough to do that.

That's good work man. That chip out isn't anything that hasn't happened to all makers and looks like it could be an easy fix. If you don't want to taper the back end or just use superglue, you can mix some epoxy with sandings from the handle wood, fill it in and sand it. Probably wouldn't even be noticeable at all after that. Or... just tell us all to go pound salt and leave it like it is. Haha. I'd buy it just like that. Hand made knife for 65 bucks is a good deal.
