Radial Pattern with Koa

This just came off the bench this morning. Sorry for the lousy pics.
Radial pattern 4wayed the 4 wayed again. I guess the would be a 16 way Blade length 8" / 13" OVL

Curly Koa with nickel guard and pin.

Thanks for looking.

Great lines! Graceful shape, Very nice! Can you better describe your 4 way "quad" method?? What was your total layer count before you started the radial cuts? Thanks!! Jon

Thanks Guy for the kind words.

Mike: I try to get a close up this weekend. You know how bad I suck at this pic taking thing

Jon: I started with a stack of 20 1080 /15N20. Did the first weld and draw out to 12" long. Cut into half. Then sheered in the middle length wise both pieces. Then clean every thing up and stacked all four pieces in the squareing dies. Then weld and draw out until the billet was 3/4" square. Cut and restacked a 4way and repeat again. Then I did the accordian fold. Next time I try this I will be doing the Ferry flip method. That way I won't stretch out the radial's.

Thanks

God Bless
