Very Nice!!

Simple and Very Clean Work.

May I ask where you came up with that design for the filework?

Shoot, I guess I just asked. LOL

I was just doing a vine pattern and while watching TV and looking at what I had done I was looking at the bottom or the start of the vine and thought it would look good if I rounded the bottom like a ball of roots . Then I keep looking at it and thought the knife looked a little busy. So the next day I did a little sigment of the vine on another knife and it didn't look complete so that is when I did the little bars on each end , I call it a vine sprout. I still haven't finished the knife that I got this idea from it will be the next knife I finish.
In the evenings when I'm watching TV with my wife I'm always looking at what I'v done ((( don't think she is really happy that I have allways have a knife in my hand))) and that is how I come up with new ideas, Or changes to what I have done..

Up from the ball or roots I call that a leaf . Is where I file a round in the tang and the part that cruls down I use a Drimel to make the leaf look curled down and the next one up is a thorn.

Art, is the file work back filled with something? Is it done before the scales are applied or as part of that process? Can epoxy be tinted? Very tastefully done by the way.

Yes, I tinted the epoxy. But the tint has to be a very small amount , the epoxy just looks smokie not black or it will not setup and will look black after it sets.
