Hi Gary!

Thanks for the tip, I must have missed seeing the listing for this magnificent knife!

Seriously, a close look at the photos shows that rather than being a stag carving of one of my relatives, it is actually a plastic handle, with the same mould impression of the Moose on both sides. The knife is probably (I'm only guessing) "Made in Japan".

Of course given its "minty" condition, perhaps it'll fetch over $50.00. Also, the #2-5 Johnson rough back sheath is probably of interest to someone. :cool:

However, perhaps, I'm wrong and this is some rare handmade, vintage knife, that some collectors will bid through the roof...
