November Guild Meeting

From the President

The next meeting will be in Lithonia on Nov 14th at Jerry Costin's shop.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can perpare for the food. Don't forget the Iron In The Hat. Be sure to bring something to put on the table since that's the way we help pay for lunch.

Come on out and enjoy a day of fun and good friends, food and watch some demos about knifemaking. Who knows, you might even learn something new, or an easier way to do something you have been struggling with.

Directions will follow soon, watch the website for more information.

Scott Davidson

Scott / Jerry - I plan on being there.

Sorry for delaying this announcement as I wanted to get firm commitments on the demo.

Wayne Hensley will be doing a Hollow grinding demo for us, taking a blade blank through layout, marking, establishing grind lines, and finished shaping.
followed by a discussion on how to finish a hollow grind, how to decide what size wheel to use, etc.

I will be showing a super low cost electro etching process. (my total cost has been $50, including professionally made stencils)

Stephan
